where the children were there is the field of dreams
the grasping of the sanity of imagination and make believe
before it was stolen and deprived by bullies and education
where now the adults plagued with desperation and fear
for their lost powers leave them helpless in lifes reality
the simple act of hope is crushed when ever it surfaces
the lust of the free world for power is unstoppable
and the price is every childs dreams and fantasies
for what is real is the power of the wicked to enslave the weak
by stealing their power to make real what they believe
